To denote the area of landed property, various types of units for land measurement are used in the bd. The term used in every state is different across Bangladesh. Before you head to buy a property you must have a better understanding of land measurement units. Also, always do the calculation on your own, do not trust the builder.
Difference Between Plot and Ground
A plot is an area that has defined boundaries like a hedge. Whereas, the ground can be a piece of land that is owned by a person but does not have a boundary or any construction over there.
Land Measurement Units: Standard Units of Measuring Land in North, West, and East Bangladesh
Sizes often vary from state to state, depending on the specific name of the units. There are only a few measures, such as Square Meters, Hectares Square Feet, and Square Yards and Acres that are widely used in Bangladesh.
